Sangiovese Discovery Pack
The lead varietal at Montefili has been, and will always be, Sangiovese, and our Sangiovese Discovery Pack provides an opportunity to explore the vintage and many faces of Sangiovese on display in our unique terroir.
The Anfiteatro is our most iconic wine, having been in production for over 40 years and was Panzano's 1st single-vineyard.
Our other two "Super Cru" wines are recent additions. Vigna Nel Bosco 2019 and Vigna Vecchia 2019 are two site specific crus that will be classified as Gran Selezione with the 2021 vintage. These are special vineyards with specific terroir; hence the individual bottlings to reflect their unique personalities.
The Chianti Classico Riserva 2021 is a great example of the incredible quality coming from our 12 hectares of hilltop vineyards. 100% Sangiovese

A precise low-intervention approach, combined with the targeted use of organic and natural fertilisers, the absence of insecticides, limited yields, and meticulous care of the production process – from pruning to harvest – enhances the identity of each plot, while respecting the environment and the health of the vineyards.
