Ottin Pinot Noir 2023

Ottin Pinot Noir 2023

Product Info

Mountain terrain, salt and a charge of aroma, a surprising overture of flavor accompanied by a classic bouquet of red fruit, leather and blood orange.  The wine moves seamlessly between fruit, mineral notes, and earth tones.

Founded in 1989 by Elio Ottin, who at just 23 transformed steep, coarse-soiled terrain between Quart and Saint-Christophe, Ottin now produces some of the Aosta Valley’s finest high-altitude wines. Guided by a farmer-scholar philosophy, Elio and his son Nicolas approach the vineyard and cellar with deep agronomic study and care, nurturing the land to express its unique mineral and sandy soils.

The estate operates as a fully self-sustaining ecosystem, powered entirely by renewable mountain resources—stream water, solar energy, and biomass—and fertilized solely with manure from their own cattle. From Petite Arvine and Fumin to Pinot Noir and Torrette Superieur, Ottin wines reflect the richness of their mountain terroir and the meticulous stewardship of their vineyards.
